It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Syd Barrett on 12th July 2006. Syd has been a big influence on so many across the world, and there are no greater fans than some of our own team members at CD-writer.com. Syd was lost to the world we know so many years ago when he opted out of the music business; yet Syd, the concept has grown in brightness and intensity with every new fan who discovered this rare marvel. Rest in peace Syd and thanks for the treasure.
